In recent years, we’ve watched official institutions weakened, rights eroded, and disinformation rise in many countries. And often not just faraway, but right here at home. The collapse is gradual, sometimes legal and quiet. And too often, we fail to respond together.
There is no doubt: democracy is in decline.
But people are resisting. Citizens, civil servants, journalists, and communities worldwide are taking a stand, but often in isolation and without support. The ROSA Network was created to change that.
ROSA stands for Resist. Organize. Safeguard. Act.
We’re building a civic-first, non-partisan network to:
- Connect local democratic defenders, all around the world
- Share experience, knowledge, tools and legal resources both locally and globally
- Make resistance visible, lawful, and prepared
- Act when democracy is at risk
We don’t replace existing efforts. We help link them. ROSA is a structure to amplify, not control. A space to coordinate, not compete.
A small, practical step toward unity in the face of democratic breakdown. We’re getting ready, join the network. Be one link in a strong chain.
